The Rolls Royce Sweptail Is Simply Magnificent.
This one off work of art was commissioned by hand for a very blessed customer of Rolls Royce. At a price point of $13 Million Dollars, the custom built Rolls Royce Sweptail is now the worlds most expensive production car and is truly one of a kind.
The design itself was inspired by the client’s love of Yachts with a re-imagination of the classic Rolls Royce coupe body. The beautiful design offers great contrast between the bold faced square front and the beautiful tapered rear. The all glass top creates a truly magnificent environment within the car leaving the owners with a nice connection to the environment around them. The view at night will really remind you that if you reach for the starts, anything is possible!
The interior is stunning with contrasting leathers and Ebony trim throughout. Rolls-Royce says the vehicle boasts its cleanest dash design to date and houses a special clock made of the world’s thinnest Macassar veneer. The car offers two seats with a completely custom teardrop shaped rear parcel shelf finished in the finest woods. Other unique interior features include a champagne cooler in the center console, and electronically operated luggage panniers designed to store custom-made carbon fiber laptop cases.
The car has been in development since 2013, and is the first one off of its kind in over 70 years to be developed.
“Sweptail is the automotive equivalent of Haute Couture,” comments Giles Taylor, Director of Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “It is a Rolls-Royce designed and hand-tailored to fit a specific customer. This customer came to the House of Rolls-Royce with an idea, shared in the creative process where we advised him on his cloth, and then we tailored that cloth to him. You might say we cut the cloth for the suit of clothes that he will be judged by.”
This really is something to strive for! Enjoy 🙂
